Moins vite, moins haut, moins fort, seul, est la mesure.

Prometheus created it, Icarus experimented with it, Hercules faced it, the Titanic attempted it, Zeppelin noted it, science doubted it, Einstein relativized it, Pierre and Marie Curie lamented it, Chernobyl proved it, the king neglected it, the vain ignored it, nature tested it, Frankenstein conceived it, humanity engendered it, the left-behind suffered it, the slave endured it, the third world deplored it, René Dumont predicted it, dissatisfaction provoked it, insatiability maintained it, the world lived it, Coubertin proposed it, liberalism theorized it, growth developed it, the consumer implored it, the market supported it, the competition encouraged it and profit made it sacred.
The Sage had foreseen it: Faster, higher and stronger, together, leads to disaster. Less fast, less high, less strong, alone, is the measure.
